Veeder-Roots New ATG Management Platform

Veeder-Root is launching its new Centralized Device Management (CDM). The CDM defends against data loss and creates secure operating environments, complete with the latest's software updates for your Automatic Tank gauges (ATGs). CDM is a server-based software package that lets you have control of the ATGs of your sites. The CDM includes backup console data and settings, Capture Console Snapshots to supply useful information to Veeder-Root Technical Support, and more.

Veeder Root is announcing the end of life of the 8485 Series TLS-300 Automatic Tank Gauge Systems. So, what next? Upgrade to the TLS 450 Plus. The TLS 450 plus has a secure/encrypted connection and 3 “Switch Networks when the TLS 350 does not. The TLS 450 Plus the better tool when it comes to security and safety. Some benefits include the Veeder-Root “Plus View mobile app. This app gives you the ability to view inventory, alarms, and delivery. Software is updated every 8-12 weeks (about 3 months) on average.

USDA Funding for Biofuels Infrastructure

USDA announced this week $100 million in funding for infrastructure through the Higher Blends Infrastructure Incentive Program (HBIIP). This program seeks to market higher blends of ethanol and biodiesel by sharing the costs to build and retrofit biofuel-related infrastructure such as pumps, dispensers and storage tanks required to compatibly distribute and store biofuels containing more than 10% ethanol (such as E15 or E85), or more than 5% biodiesel.
