The GPRO QM40 Fuel Meter is Now Available

Great Plains Industries is pleased to announce the new QM40 series fuel meters are available for purchase. The new QM40 models feature the same Extreme Accuracy, Oval Gear Technology, and Magnetic Drive as the QM240 and QM150 series, and have been re-designed with Quick-Fit Modular flanges to bolt directly to the G20 gear and V25 vane pumps.

Each QM40 ships with 1” NPT inlet and outlet fittings that allow it to adapt easily to any application. The QM40 is a GPRO branded product and is backed by a 5-year warranty.

The effective date for all models is April 2021.

USDA Funding for Biofuels Infrastructure

USDA announced this week $100 million in funding for infrastructure through the Higher Blends Infrastructure Incentive Program (HBIIP). This program seeks to market higher blends of ethanol and biodiesel by sharing the costs to build and retrofit biofuel-related infrastructure such as pumps, dispensers and storage tanks required to compatibly distribute and store biofuels containing more than 10% ethanol (such as E15 or E85), or more than 5% biodiesel.
